Midsummer Magic

Midsummer Magic at Yeo Valley Organic Garden

Come and join us for a season of events in the unique setting of the Yeo Valley Organic Garden at Holt Farm. Arrive in time to enjoy a wander around the beautiful gardens before the show begins. A wonderful opportunity not to be missed!

Gig in the Garden – Beth Rowley

Tuesday 13th June 2023 – 7pm

Join Beth Rowley and band supported by My Secret Sister.

Following her recent sellout gig in Ubley,  in March, Beth is back to open our amazing summer season at Yeo Valley Gardens. One of the Uk’s most extraordinarily beautiful singers, Beth is supported by Valley Arts very professional house band.

The Secret Sisters are a trio of accomplished vocalists who make delicious harmonies across genres and eras.

This is sure to be a sellout, so make sure you book early!

A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Tuesday 27th June 2023 – 7pm

Join the HandleBards at Yeo Valley Organic Garden for a hilarious, high-octane production of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

“Gloriously eccentric and very, very funny” ★★★★ The Stage

Pandora’s Box

Thursday 27th July 2023 – 6.30pm

A riotous and ridiculous retelling by The Last Baguette

Ever wondered what’s in the box? The one on the top shelf? Why is it there? Why were you told not to look it in? Could it really be so bad?
With a plethora of costume changes, a pantheon of Gods and a prohibited peek into a pithos, The Last Baguette retell the preposterous and problematic story of Pandora.

Pride and Prejudice

Tuesday 29th August 2023 – 7pm

Illyria’s production of Jane Austen’s glorious social comedy attracted sell-out audiences for a total of six years.

If your idea of Jane Austen is stuffy costume drama then this sparkling adaptation may make you change your mind. Bring a picnic and have a ball as the irrepressible Illyria sharpen their claws to bring you Jane Austen at her vibrant, bitchy best!

Notes on the performances

These are outdoor productions, so please bring your own chair or blanket to sit on, and dress for the weather! In the case of inclement weather the shows will still go on. No umbrellas please, they block sight lines for other audience members.

Doors open at 6pm and Yeo Valley have kindly offered for ticket holders to wander around the fabulous organic garden before the shows start at 7pm.

You are welcome to bring a picnic, but we are running a bar, so we ask that you buy all your drinks from us; the profits go towards the cost of the events and allows us to continue bringing these fabulous shows to the Chew Valley. Please make sure you take all your rubbish home with you.
