Music Club Night with the Ikos Trio featuring Dom Pipkin

Valley Arts launches a new Music Club Night bringing top quality musicians to local venues here in the Chew Valley. 

The series, which will offer regular live music nights throughout the year, kicks off with the Ikos Trio, led by international star, singer and virtuoso keyboard player Dom Pipkin. 

Famed as one of Europe’s top advocates of New Orleans rhythm and blues, and breathing life into the most classic of funk sounds, Dom has toured the world with the likes of Paloma Faith, Paul Wellar and Ray Davies to name a few.   

He is joined by the exceptional talent of Ubley-based drummer Jimmy Norden and double bassist Nick Pini, who between them have worked alongside artists such as Tom Jones, Annie Lennox and Beth Rowley.

Bring your dancing shoes and shimmy off those winter blues in a night that’s sure to liven up the local village hall with an upbeat mix of New Orleans inspired jazz, blues, funk and soul.
