A Play in a Day

Calling all young thespians! Join our Youth Theatre “Play in a Day” holiday club this February Half Term.

Led by experienced facilitator, director and actor Casey Lloyd (Valley Arts Youth Theatre Leader) the day will begin with fun drama games and skills based activities, before moving on to working together as a group to create, rehearse, and perform a play all in one day.  Perfect for budding actors ready to shine!  

Our holiday club days are a relaxed and enjoyable way to build confidence, make friends and have fun.   No experience necessary and all materials will be provided. Just bring some lunch, a drink and your sense of adventure! 

Paper Puppet Theatre

Unleash your creativity in our Paper Puppets Workshop! 

Led by experienced theatre maker Tomasin Cuthbert-Menes, Artistic Director of Soap Soup Theatre, you are invited to spend a fun an creative day learning a range of puppetry techniques and discovering many of the ways in which you can bring puppets to life in performance. The day will include the chance to design and make your very own unique paper puppets to take home with you.  Perfect for imaginative kids.
