Great Expectations – Quantum Theatre

Thursday 13th June 2024 – 7pm

A startling encounter with an escaped convict on the wild Kent marshes; a summons to meet the decaying Miss Havisham; the sudden appearance of a mystery benefactor – this series of events change the orphaned Pip’s life forever as he eagerly abandons his humble origins to become a gentleman.

From the misty marshes of Kent to the dusty, dirty streets of London, we bring you a thrilling new adaptation of Dickens’s most enduringly popular novel, packed full of high drama, mysterious goings on and all your favourite Dickensian characters.

Join us on Pip’s journey through adversity to discover the true nature of his ‘Great Expectations’ in our exciting new production of this much-loved family classic.

Quantum Theatre has been touring for over thirty years and continues to tour into all manner of venues across the UK, including theatres and arts centres, National Trust and English Heritage venues, National Trust for Scotland venues, castles, parks and gardens, schools and community halls, and other more unusual indoor and outside venues, ensuring that all communities across the UK have access to the company’s work and helping bring theatre to those who may not ordinarily have access to experience a live performance.
