FEASTING

Saturday 20th April 2024 – 12 to 4pm

Join us for a summertime picnic and come together around the common language of food!

Feasting invites asylum seekers, refugees and local residents to celebrate the diversity of our cultures by sharing a meal and listening to live music in the beautiful setting of The Community Farm. Expect a relaxed afternoon with outdoor activities, farm tours and a delicious meal prepared by the brilliant Houria, Bristol-based caterers working with migrant women and female survivors of slavery.

This family-friendly event is presented by local arts charity Trigger as part of Humanity Hotel, an ongoing project supporting the wellbeing of asylum seekers housed in North Somerset, with support from Valley Arts.

  • If you would like to support this project, there are lots of ways you can help:
  • Sign up to support or deliver a creative workshop: contact Senior Producer Ellen Booth ellen@triggerstuff.co.uk for more information
